WAKIKO FUKUDA
is Tokyo based interior designer, who works internationally.
She studied Architectural Design at graduate school and developed a thoughtful approach towards design at The Oslo school of Architecture and Design. Since returning to Japan in 2011, she was involved in the launch of Norwegian cafe/bar/vintage design shop “Fuglen” and was responsible for the vintage design department.
In 2013, “Norwegian Icons” was launched. This company’s interior division introduced Norwegian designs to Japan, and she created several cafe/bar and spaces. She has a deep connection with the food/drink culture, and has worked on interior design and direction, mainly for the cafe/bar and hospitality industry.
She is greatly influenced by both modern and vintage design, and aims to create a space that is cultivated with her clients.
